The fruit of our lips...
We have such power in our hands, I mean in our mouths to be exact. By what we say and how we say it, our life will either improve and prosper, or will get discouraging and sad.
‘From the fruit of his mouth a man’s {or women’s} stomach is filled, with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.’
Proverbs 18:20-21
‘From the fruit of his lips a man is filled with good things’ Proverbs 12:14
‘Reckless words pierce like a sword but the tongue of the wise brings healing.’ Proverbs 12:18
‘The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, but deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.’ Proverbs 15:4
There is power in our words. What we say to our family, our little ones will either bring healing or will crush their spirit. Amazing isn’t it? I believe with our words we can either bring Gods blessing into our house or evil cursing. In everything we say there is an invisible thread that sprang from our mouths. If its good, it will come back as good things. If its bad, criticizing words, evil words, angry and upset words it could bring destruction to your house. Be careful in what and how you say things. Even if you did slipped and said something. You can bring it back by apologizing and taking your words back. In every word try to plant a blessing, a lovely idea, a good thing, and the good, the lovely and blessings will follow you, and come into your home, to abide in us.
