I believe spring is my favorite time of the year. Everything is blooming, everything is green, and its getting much warmer, and I don't have to defrost my car every morning when I go to work.
To see a world in a grain of sand And heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand And eternity in an hour.

Yes, its Spring.
I believe spring is here. The days are warmer, even though the nights are still cold. My days are filled with little children, tiny seeds, garden dirt, good smelling desserts, trying to keep the house clean and organized. I love spending time outdoors, when the weather is nice and sunny. We went to the local garden park. The flowers are blooming! So beautiful.
God has created everything so beautiful. There are so many varieties of flowers and trees and herbs and grasses. Yes I am truly overwhelmed by Gods creative hand.

A yellow surprise.
Every day has a gift of its own.
I got an early surprise the other day, something yellow and unexpected. It was buried there last year, and finally as the warm sun and rain did its job, the yellow heads appeared. It was a nice surprise for me to see the flowers, especially with the fact that I forgot that the bulbs got planted there last year. Amazing how nature just does what it knows best. As the bulb sat dead and dry over the hot summer, rainy fall, and cold, windy winter and surprising me early this season.
God gave us early yellow flowers to inform us that spring is trully coming, and winter is coming to an end.

Yellow Beauty.
1Th 5:16 Rejoice always,
pray without ceasing,
give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit.

The first sign of spring.
Spring is coming! God cares about you! He knows about all your needs.
27 "And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life ? 28 "And why are you worried about clothing ? Observe how the lilies of the field grow ; they do not toil nor do they spin, 29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30 "But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith ! 31 "Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will wear for clothing?' 32 "For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things ; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 "So do not worry about tomorrow ; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. ~~ Matthew 6:27-34

Happy Spring to you.
The best part in living here in California, is that spring arrives here very early, with summer right behind it. Which is very nice and well, except when the summer heat hits with such long dry spells, that nothing green would ever survive this unless we water our garden every single day. Which makes me really love spring and autumn. The fresh air, warm, crisp is just perfect to go on a nice stroll. Here are some spring pictures I wanted to share with you, to bring some flowers your way, knowing that not everyone gets their spring so early....
I love spring. The flowers blooming, the green grass- for as soon as summer gets here, the grass will turn yellow, dry and lifeless. I hope you are having a wonderful day, sit in the sun and enjoy the warm sunshine, its so easy to be low on vitamin D.

Fun in the sun.
We went to the park on the weekend. It was such a pretty, warm day. We all enjoyed the freedom and the fresh air. The girls sure got tired afterwards.... Just look at all the things they did.
Jumping up and down in trying to catch the limbs of a tree.
Walking up and down an old white bridge.
Running up and down the hill.
Then there was this fat old goose that the girls wanted to touch, but he hissed loudly, and we all ran away..:)
Ariana wanted to climb a tree.
And Odelia wanted to smell a flower, until she saw a black bug in it, then she changed her mind.
The baby did very good, as she sat in the stroller and watched her wild sisters run up and down the hill.
All in all it was a beautiful day, I believe spring is here!!! Especially looking at the last picture.
I hope you are getting your spring where you live, and if you dont.... Well dont despair, it will get to where you live sooner then later.

What does your book say about you?
Sometimes we fill our hours with empty things. I do a lot of that. The things that don’t really fill me up, the things that don’t let me grow, just empty calories, like junk food. The time is ticking, an hour gone, a day has passed, what do I have to show for it? What will be written in the book of Life, when I die? If every hour is an empty breath, and every day is a lost dream, what will I show to HIM, the Owner of me, when I come before Him? Empty promises? Unsolved problems? Unfulfilled dreams? Buried treasure of my soul?
Every time we do a good, kind deed, its like a flower in bloom, the fragrance of it will reach the heavens, and it will bear fruit. Also, every time instead of replying to someone in a mean, sharp way we choose to use a kind, loving way we are doing a beautiful, kind thing. Your book of life will not be empty. So lets be more kind to each other, more loving to our husbands, more forgiving to strangers, and teaching our children to be nice, and kind, and helpful, then our day will not go in vain. Then it means that this day has left a mark, maybe on someone’s soul, but mostly in your book of life.
Lets be like this tree.... blooming, the smell of spring in the air.
To Do List From God
I ran my life in search of worldly things;
My time and will were firmly in control.
I thought I had no need for what God brings;
I gave no heed to murmurs from my soul.
“You’re planning, doing all the time,” it said,
“But something else is missing deep inside.
Your mind is whirling, but your heart is dead,
So turn to God and let go of your pride.”
I did, and God said, “Here’s My plan for you:
Give your life to Me, and just let go.
Have faith and pray, and read the Bible through,
And you’ll have blessings more than you can know.”
So simple, yet it brings me perfect peace,
Living life for God the way I should.
Direction, purpose, fullness and release—
Life with God is very, very good.
