An experiment....:)

Take a look at this and tell me what you see....:)
Anything unusual? Unique?

Yes, this is wild untamed grass. My experiment was in putting my camera on the ground and taking pictures from down below, I believe for a first experiment it turned out kind of interesting....;) Especially that I had no idea how the picture would turn out until later.

What though the radiance

Which was once so bright

Be now for ever taken from my sight,

Though nothing can bring back the hour

Of splendour in the grass,

of glory in the flower;

We will grieve not, rather find

Strength in what remains behind;

In the primal sympathy

Which having been must ever be;

In the soothing thoughts that spring

Out of human suffering;

In the faith that looks through death,

In years that bring the philosophic mind.

A poem I like.

I Cannot Do This Alone

O God, early in the morning I cry to you.

Help me to pray

And to concentrate my thoughts on you:

I cannot do this alone.

In me there is darkness,

But with you there is light;

I am lonely, but you do not leave me;

I am feeble in heart, but with you there is help;

I am restless, but with you there is peace.

In me there is bitterness, but with you there is patience;

I do not understand your ways,

But you know the way for me…

Restore me to liberty,

And enable me to live now

That I may answer before you and before me.

Lord, whatever this day may bring,

Your name be praised.

Flower romance.

I see romance in every petal, in every blooming branch.

Last year was my first year that I actually had my own yard, and was able to plant flowers. I cant wait until spring so I can plant a lot more this year. I believe I am getting the winter blues, with all this rain we are having, and no sunshine.... but I am happy to see that next week is the first of March!! Yay!

Some of the trees has shown the first glimpses of spring. It reminds me of weddings and romance and kisses.... and love. No wonder God is love, He sure created everything lovely.
Does it reminds you of a wedding? I guess if you got married in winter, it probably doesn’t remind you... But to me, spring is love. I could spend hours wandering through a botanical garden, flower park, or some wild woods, where beauty lives.

Here are my daughters, human flowers in my eyes. Enjoying the first flowers of spring, a golden dandelion.
But this last one is my favorite.... the most romantic flower! Yes, I know that a rose is very romantic, but this is different.....:) This is spring romance!!

Blessings.

Blessings are found only when I look for them. When my eyes are heavy with the troubles of today, I easily go through life not seeing the blessings, but only the hardships and struggles.

Like seeing the golden sunshine and blue forever sky.

Like seeing my almost 3 year old, playing on the swing, as she sings a made up song at the top of her lungs.

Like seeing pretty lilac bows in my girls hair.
Like seeing brown curls on my youngest baby girl.
Like seeing her sweet little face, turned to me in love.

Like seeing flowers that soon will be blooming, and the bird song that tell us that spring is almost here.

Seeing the blessing, when my heart is open to see.

Yellow belly feather friend.

We had some feather friends visiting our wild grape tree. Their are called Cedar Waxwings. Funny name? :)
Cedar waxwings are approximately 6–7 inches in length and weigh roughly 30 grams. They are smaller and more brown than their close relative, the Bohemian Waxwing (which breeds further to the north and west).

These birds' most prominent feature is a small cluster of bright red feathers on the wings, a feature they share with the Bohemian Waxwing. The tail is typically yellow or orange depending on diet. Birds that have fed on berries of introduced Eurasian honeysuckles while growing tail feathers will have darker orange-tipped tail-feathers. Adults have a pale yellow belly. Immature birds are streaked on the throat and flanks, and often do not have the black mask of the adults.

During courtship the male and female will sit together and pass small objects back and forth, such as flower petals or an insect. Mating pairs will sometimes rub their beaks together affectionately.

The flight of waxwings is strong and direct, and the movement of the flock in flight resembles that of a flock of small pale European Starlings.

Pretty birds.

It smells like spring...!

It feels like spring today! The sky is blue, the air is fresh, the buds are forming on trees, ready to bloom as soon as it warms up even more. Yes, it sure feels like spring here in CA. The past few weeks I was looking through catalogs... so I could order seeds, and flowers, so I can start to garden.
I got my first seed packets in the mail.... I love them.

Yes, I am funny like that. I love seeds, dirt, and planting the seeds in the ground, so then in the summer I get to enjoy a big home grown harvest. This year I got a lot more variety of different seeds. Now I will start to prep my garden, different places that are for different types of plants.

Here is the space in front of my house, where a yellow rose bush is growing, and around the bush I want to plant all kinds of flowers, some of them will be zinnias, and coreopsis. Earlier in the day I took my girls on a walk, and we saw this pretty bush with amazing pink flowers.

A beautiful gift for Valentine's Day from God himself.

My own flowers are growing fast too.

I love the green-blue background on these pictures. Adorable, isnt?
Well, I hope you had a wonderful week, and that you can smell the spring in the air as well. :)

Love is not a feeling.

Whoever has loved knows all that life contains of sorrow and of joy.
---George Sand.---

They say that falling in love is very easy, but sometimes it seems impossible. I found a simple guide to help someone find the love of their life, to actually falling in love and staying in love.

1. Never look for love in all the wrong places.

2. Let love find you, find happiness in what you are and where you are right now, happy people attract love.

3. Do the things you enjoy doing, sports, garden, church and other healthy activities.

4. Don’t stay in front of your TV, or inside your house on the days you are off work.

5. Don’t make an ideal man or woman for yourself in your mind, be open to possibilities.

6. Know that no one is perfect, and that we fall in love to complete each other, and possibly to become a better person.

7. After you meet that special someone, let the love come gently, don’t rush into things.

8. Take things slowly. Decide to court each other, not date.

9. Its wise to not have physical contact, to agree to respect each other until marriage.

10. When you wait to touch that someone until you marry, it makes it sacred and special.

11. Be gentle, be kind, be serving.

12. Always look for the good in the other person.

13. Don’t let many months or years go by in waiting for marriage, if you love, don’t wait. Marry.

14. Staying in love is simple. Respect your mate, and treat them like you would yourself.

15. Love is not just an emotion. Love is patient, kind, thoughtful, and caring. Love is action.

16. Don’t believe in silent treatment. If both of you are unwilling to talk then write down how you feel and give it to your spouse. Always be truthful in a kind way.

17. Look into each others eyes more often. Even if you are mad, it hard to stay mad when you gaze into each others eyes.

18. Spend time together, talk, laugh and enjoy the fun of living and enjoying each others company.

19. Never give up in your marriage, its easy to just walk away, but hard to stay and work it out.
