It is interesting to note that our world is made 71% of water, just like our bodies are made 60% water. Our brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%, and blood is 94%. This shows that it is very important to drink water, to stay hydrated.
There are many benefits of drinking water, let me list a few, as I sip my glass of water.
- Water lubricates our joints.
- Its forms saliva and mucus. I know, so important.
- It keeps our skin beautiful and young.
- It regulates body temperature.
- It helps our digestive system, and gets rid of body waste.
- It helps us absorb nutrients and vitamins.
- It helps with exercise and to lose weight.
As you can see it is very important to stay hydrated, so drink up that cool glass of water.
